About STEVEN SCOTT
Steven Scott is a multi award-winning author of nonfiction and fiction graphic novels. Scott co-authored New York Times Bestseller They Called Us Enemy with George Takei, which earned him the prestigious Eisner Award. He followed this success by re-teaming with Takei on the follow-up It Rhymes With Takei. In addition, he writes and illustrates the graphic memoir G'Day Yank, recounting his youth spent in Australia.
Scott got his start writing for Archie Comics and has since gone on to co-create the Sixth-Grade Shape-Shifter series, as well as launching The Magic History Books series, both from Capstone. He has also written comics for Epic/Andrews McMeel, including Cat Ninja, Time Buddies, and more.
The west coast of Canada is where he calls home with his two kids and two cats.
